1.GENERAL INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Activated carbon plays an important role in many industries such as water treatment, wastewater, exhaust gas, chemicals, etc. However, after use, if activated carbon is not properly treated, it can have a negative impact on the environment. Recognizing this, Samchully Carbotech Vietnam Co., Ltd. has been implementing activated carbon recycling solutions using advanced and modern technology to contribute to environmental protection and resource optimization.<\/p>\n

Currently, the Company is one of the few company in Vietnam officially licensed to collect and recycle used activated carbon. With advanced technological processes, the Company is committed to effectively recycling activated carbon, ensuring quality and meeting strict environmental protection standards.<\/p>\n

2. SCOPE, SCALE, CAPACITY OF THE FACTORY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

– The factory has environmental criteria as a Group I investment project according to the provisions of the Law on Environmental Protection, Decree No. 08\/2022\/ND-CP.<\/p>\n

– Total area: 15,067 m2.<\/p>\n

– Scale: The factory has criteria as a Group B project (classified according to the criteria prescribed by the law on public investment).<\/p>\n

– Capacity: Activated carbon production with a scale of 4,500 tons\/year (In which the capacity for recycling used activated carbon has a scale of 3,500 tons\/year)<\/p>\n

3. CONTENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL LICENSE TO COLLECT AND RECYCLE ACTIVATED CARBON<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Samchully Carbotech Vietnam Co., Ltd. has Environmental License No. 547\/GPMT-BTNMT issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on December 18, 2024 and Environmental License (1st adjustment) No. 31\/GPMT-BTNMT issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on January 14, 2025.<\/p>\n

Requirements and conditions: Only hazardous waste code 12 01 04, which is activated carbon that adsorbs organic solvents, can be collected. Absolutely do not collect hazardous waste code 12 01 04, which is activated carbon generated from the process of treating waste incinerator emissions, as well as activated carbon from the chlorine production process, activated carbon used for the purpose of adsorbing heavy metals or other toxic substances such as Dioxin, Furan, and organic substances that are difficult to decompose.<\/p>\n

4. ACTIVATED CARBON RECYCLING PROCESS AT THE COMPANY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

At Samchully Carbotech Vietnam factory, used activated carbon is processed through modern stages, from classification, cleaning, activation to strict quality control before being reused.<\/p>\n

The factory’s recycling technology helps restore the function of activated carbon, minimize waste to the environment and contribute to the circular economy<\/p>\n
